Klipsch or JBL??? need advice today!!! (1 Viewer)

My set up is JBL ND310 mains, Klipsch RC-35 center, Harmon Kardon AVR635. My dilema is I want to buy surrounds and I'm looking at some Klipsch RB-35. OR I can buy JBL S36II.....they both the same price $150...but the guy that is selling the JBL's would throw in a JBL S-center for 20 bucks extra......Do I buy the Klipsch RB-35 and pair them with my Klipsch center as fronts, moving my JBL nd-310's as surrounds? or Buy the JBL S36II and pair the center with my JBL towers?...I can't decide and I have have to make a choice by tomorrow.

I cannot comment on which are better surrounds the JBL's or the Klipsch as these speakers are not as important as your front stage.
 

However, I think it would be safe to say that your current JBL's are not timbre matched with your Klipsch center channel. What you need to find out is if the JBL center that is being offered for $20 is timbre matched to your Left and Right JBL's. If that is true then the JBL's would be a better choice. Also if you ever have to sell you would have a complete JBL system.
