Klipsch has announced the arrival of the ProMedia Heritage 2.1 multimedia speaker system, priced at $349 ($239 Costco member price). The system is targeted for home office, workstation, or gaming station use. With the characteristic mid-century-cool look of the Heritage Wireless series, the new 2.1 speaker system “blends the acoustics and classic design legacy of founder Paul W. Klipsch” with the latest state-of-the-art tech.
Klipsch says that the ProMedia Heritage 2.1 uses proprietary acoustic technology and a “performance-first” engineering philosophy. The company’s engineers are responsible for picking out and tuning components to match perfectly, claiming to make the system sound immersive and complete. The speakers carry three-inch long-throw woofers and one-inch soft dome tweeters on Tractrix horns, the latter being a proprietary technology representing the core of the Klipsch acoustics philosophy.
