Don't think this was posted, and sadly given Schulze's apparent obscurity, wouldn't expect it to be, but here it is nonetheless, and perhaps this will be of note to someone. Seems that all the back-catalog of Klaus Schulze's prolific output will be re-relased in new editions, often with bonus tracks. Four new editions are already out, with four more coming in April, and looks like four more each successive two months.

The official site, www.klaus-schulze.com, lists Picture Music, Dig It, En=Trance, and In Blue as the next in this series. Can't wait to get them all, as I have very few of Schulze's albums, and held out because of availability and price, but always wanted to have them all, and seems this is finally happening.

Paul, thanks for posting this. I have a couple Klaus Schulze discs, and have always wanted to pick up more, but like you said, availability has always been an issue. I will definitely grab these.

Glad you found this useful, Craig, and it's nice to see somebody besides me knows who Klaus Schulze is. :) Apparently these all come in digipacks with new liner notes by Klaus himself. All are remastered with bonus tracks, and this seems to continue for other future releases. I have three Klaus Schulze albums and won't mind upgrading them, especially Dig It, which will have a bonus DVD with a complete 1980 concert!

Amazon has put up preorders for the next four reissues:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0007ZP1AM/

Prices fluctuate for these release for some reason on Amazon. I was able to get the first four at $14.99 each (one of them was $13.99), but it took several calls to the Customer Service. Prices apparently have gone up since. Hopefully the second wave will go down a bit as well, but Dig It contains a bonus DVD, and In Blue is a 3 CD set. At any rate, I'm highly anticipating these, and anouncement of the next four, for June.

Klaus Schulze's website announced today that sometime in April the same label that's putting out these reissues will release a new album: Moonlake. Great news!

Well, Moonlake has been pushed to September.

Meanwhile, covers and details for the third wave of reissues have appeared:

All are set for June 27 (Amazon has only Body Love and Audentity at this point, coming out the 28th...)

Amazon has two of the newest reissues up for preorder for January 31st: Moondawn and Vanity of Sounds. The two others, Angst and Das Wagner Desaster, are up as well, but not availablr for preorder for some reason...

I know nobody cares, and I'm doing this more for myself I guess.

The next wave of reissues is set for April or May but haven't appeared on Amazon just yet. The albums are: Irrlicht, Dziekuje Poland, Are You Sequenced?, The Crime of Suspense.
