Anybody try to modify the AV8 to encorporate phase plugs??

The concept sounds as though it would be a good idea.

Any thoughts

It is a good idea but too much trouble considering there might be better drivers for the money. I am pretty close to a new active crossover which reduces the effect of the AV8s problems, for those of us who already have Kit281s. But I don't see much use for the AV8 in new 2-ways, where the phase plugs might be useful.. because there appear to be better or cheaper options anyway.
