I'd definitely buy any Universal horror or sci-fi movie from the 1930's to the early 60's. Also, please someone release Lost Highway! :)

There are dozens of titles from Universal I want on BD, but the only ones I can think of now are 80s titles like Private School, and The Wild Life.

I hope some Universal TV shows make their way to Kino also. I would love to see that.

There are also some good Jimmy Stewart westerns from Universal that would be great to own in HD, as long as I’m daydreaming/rambling/requesting/begging...

Great News regarding Universal. I'm hoping for Lonely are the Brave and The Big Fix on Blu-ray.

Blue Skies (1946) is my most wanted Universal title (restored if you can get it, please)!
After that, I'd settle for The Major and the Minor, any Bing Crosby movies, any Bob Hope movies, or any Abbott and Costello. I'd also settle for any W.C. Fields, or any other musicals from the 30s-50s! And while it sounds like they probably wouldn't be included in that time frame, I wish the Burns and Allen shorts could be considered for future deals with Universal.

Thrilled to bits about the Universal deal. I'm sure you'll be overcome with a wave of requests of the usual suspects (The Heiress, Thoroughly Modern Millie, The Glenn Miller Story, Criss Cross, The Glass Key etc.) but I hope among the 100 titles are some lesser known never seen the light of day on DVD titles like The Tattered Dress, Raw Wind In Eden, Congo Crossing, Twilight For The Gods, Second Greatest Sex, What's So Bad About Feeling Good?, So This Is Paris etc.

Forget about the requests. I’m anxiously awaiting the announcements. I know whatever they are they will be embraced.

Outstanding! I hope there’s more than one from 1932 as I have three titles controlled by Universal from that year on my wish list - Love Me Tonight, Scarface & Trouble in Paradise. Also, some Deanna Durbin please (esp 100 Men and a Girl). And while many of us have been enjoying the recent Criterion box, I'd love more Marlene - Desire, Destry Rides Again & A Foreign Affair.

    Thank goodness for Kino!

It would be nice to see the heretofore unreleased classic Paramount horror-mysteries and other unreleased rarities like the arguably very timely 1957 Albert Zugsmith camp curio Girl in the Kremlin.

In any case, this is (hopefully) great news!

I am willing to wait to see the list titles but I do hope that some the titles that were released as MOD burned discs under Universal's Vault Series get re-released as pressed discs by Kino; titles such as The War Lord, The Return of the Musketeers, The Cat and the Canary, Cobra Woman, The Black Shield of Falworth, Jungle Woman, Seminole, etc. from the Vault Series or films that have not been released on DVD or Blu-ray such as Jungle Captive or Secret of the Incas would be nice.

I think it's pretty likely that those titles which have been released on Blu-ray disc in Europe - such as Cobra Woman, The War Lord and The Black Shield Of Falworth - will be offered to Kino.

The Flash Gordon serials with Buster Crabbe reverted back to King Features Syndicate, the owner of the comic strip , since sometime in 1950's. Universal, which produced the serials, has not owned them in many years.
