    Would y'all agree that a great Walter Matthau double-bill would be "Kotch" and "Hopscotch"?
    Not at all releated, but marketing-wise its definitely catchy.
    Anyway, "Kotch" will be my first purchase of KL's new batch of 19 (or 20).
    I suspect that this film is the least known or seen of the 3 Walter Matthau Oscar nominations;
    with "The Sunshine Boys" and "The Fortune Cookie" already available on BD.
    BTW, Jack Lemmon takes to the director's chair (his one and only time).

    Wonder what the legal issues regarding Too Late the Hero are, as more Robert Aldrich makes its way to Blu this year.

    Curious about Song of Norway, though that seems a way off. Even more curious about Andrew L. Stone's followup, The Great Waltz. How he went from up-to-the-moment thrillers to old timey musicals is a mystery.

    Have you rights to release THE MAGIC SWORD and/or Verhoeven's THE FOURTH MAN?

    I think Shout has The Magic Sword since it was an MST3K title on one of their volumes ..

    A very long, long time ago. Who knows where the rights lay for the unexpurgated version.

    I asked another label about it not too long ago and they said ti was still with Shout. They just renewed the AIP titles (War of the Colossal Beast.etc) that were also part of some MST3K volumes. I wish they would release them in non MST versions! :)

    I think this was answered before. I don't believe Kino has the rights to this marvelous psychological thriller.

    I really enjoyed the OSS 117 set. I had never seen any of the films but it was a most excellent blind buy! Thanks for the release and congratulations on all the nominations!

    You are correct. :(

    BTW it is worth noting that Barry Gordon had a very long acting career and was the longest serving president of the SAG.

    He was even the scuba kid in "The Spirit is Willing".

    One question about your new release of BIG COUNTRY...I researched the liner notes of the LaserDisc via Google. It revealed the score (at least) was recorded in true stereo but there is no record of the film being issued in stereo. Joe Caps has so far proven us wrong.

    I still have yet to see the new Kino blu ray, but I can tell you MGM could have used DES stereo technology to create (or recreate) that mythical stereo mix in 5.1. Would it be still possible if you issue this on 4K Ultra HD disc?

    Kino has never released a 4K Ultra HD disc.
