KinoLorberInsider: Following up on 2 older questions to which I did not see responses:

Will the Bob Hope "The Cat And The Canary" bluray have any extras?

Does last year's New York Stories bluray have a new transfer or the same transfer as the 2012 MillCreek bluray?

    Thanks!

Imported my Blu-ray from England (Region B), and I can report that transfer is beautiful and the film is, of course, magnificent. I hope a lot of people avail themselves of this movie if they don't already have it.

The Cat and Canary disc will include a historian commentary and trailer.

I have no idea. Our release is BD50 and looks great.

I thoroughly agree with Matt that 'An Inspector Calls' is magnificent. But my favourite Sim outing is 'The Green Man', a comedy which manages to include one shock scene which had me screaming out loud in the cinema ... I was only about 10 or 11 at the time but I always remember that moment. The only other movie which has had me scream out loud is 'Psycho'.

We have been watching the recent Kino releases starring Jean Gabin over the last week. Tonight we watched Razzia; a splendid crime movie. The quality of the print was outstanding; I recommend these releases to anyone with an interest in French cinema and crime movies in particular.
Many thanks Kino for these wonderful releases.

I rather enjoy this silly parody of a cheesy sci-fi movie being shown on t.v. plus commercials. Makes me laugh quite a lot.

Right on! I like this film, especially the dialog exchanges between Hackman and the hired assassins. Would love to see the '52 version on Blu also.

Have you seen the earlier Lampoon films such as The Groove Tube, Tunnel Vision, and Prime Time?

Haven't seen the last two you mention, but I own THE GROOVE TUBE. I saw this in a theater with my new wife when it first came out, and moments of it cracked us up. However, the final "Public Service" announcement from Safety Sam, after I figured out what I was looking at, remains the only scene in any movie ever that actually had me falling off my chair and doubling up on the floor with laughter, which literally took my breath away, Embarrassed the hell out of my wife. I wish this could be rescued from the crumby 2000 Hen's Tooth DVD.
