[sigh] Another big order. This time of year is killing me, but it's a great way to die!

    Picked up:

    Blindfold
    Ffolkes aka North Sea Hijack
    Madigan
    The Man Who Haunted Himself
    Pittsburgh
    Port of Shadows
    The Spoilers

I'm really looking forward to the two Dietrich/Scott/Wayne films (Pittsburgh and The Spoilers) as well as the Moore films. Heck, I'm looking forward to all of them, who am I kidding?

I was going to get Alphaville but it looks like it was out of stock so didn't want to hold up my order.

    Last Year at Marienbad
    Alphaville
    Sweet Charity

(I guess Kino isn't doing a box set for the six volumes of The Pink Panther cartoons?)

I would think Seven Sinners with Wayne & Dietrich might get a blu ray upgrade too.

I am still hoping for several more of those Universal 60's titles will receive consideration: I'd Rather Be Rich, Fluffy, Bus Riley's Back In Town, A Man Could Get Killed, The Lively Set, Love And Kisses, Tammy & The Millionaire, etc.. There are also a bunch of great Universal-International titles from the 50s waiting for a home video debut. Plenty of film noir, dramas, westerns, comedies and the list goes on and on. Gosh... I love old movies too much I guess!

Thanks Kino for the great sales! I purchased:

Sweet Charity (amazing price of $14.99!!!)
    Stingaree
    Lovers and Other Strangers
    Portrait in Black
Glorifying the American Girl (not part of the sales, but discounted)

    Eclectic, but that's my taste.

One Universal title I've been hoping for someone to put out , either Kino or Universal's own MOD program, is "The Great Man" from 1957, directed by and starring Jose Ferrer. I don't think this has ever been on any video format, at least in the USA. I recall seeing it on Channel 9 WOR in NYC in the late 70s/early 80s, and loving it, but haven't seen it since
