Thank you for the confirmation on Omar Khayyam.

Will Crossed Swords be released on both DVD and Blu-ray or just Blu-ray?

I know who Mark Twain is (DUH), but the original blurb by KINO said based on Tom Sawyer.

Crossed Swords (1977) aka The Prince and the Pauper
Starring Oliver Reed, Raquel Welch, Charlton Heston, Mark Lester, Ernest Borgnine, George C. Scott, Rex Harrison, David Hemmings, Harry Andrews, Lalla Ward, Sybill Danning and Graham Stark – Shot by Jack Cardiff (Black Narcissus) – Music by Maurice Jarre (Doctor Zhivago) – Based on a Novel by Mark Twain (The Adventures of Tom Sawyer) – Screenplay by Berta Dominguez D. (The Light at the Edge of the World) and Pierre Spengler (Producer of Superman) – Final Screenplay by George MacDonald Fraser (The Three Musketeers) – Directed by Richard Fleischer (The Vikings).

No, they are identifying Mark Twain as the author of "Tom Sawyer", just like they identified Maurice Jarre as (Doctor Zhivago), etc.

Exactly. In fact, the original blurb specifically says “Crossed Swords (1977) aka The Prince and the Pauper.” You can’t get more explicit than that really. The Huck Finn and Connecticut Yankee comments were clearly jokes.

[CROSSED SWORDS] In 70mm & Six-Track Stereophonic Sound!

Kino likely won't tell us what the sound on this disc will be, but it will be interesting to discover what people think they are hearing. The 2001 Anchor Bay DVD was labeled as being in mono, but one reviewer believed it was actually front stereo. When Paul Mavis reviewed the 2007 Lionsgate DVD of the film, he thought that release was two-channel mono.

The Hitch-Hiker (1953)

• Audio Commentary by Film Historian Imogen Sara Smith
• Trailers

B&W 71 Minutes 1.37:1 Not Rated

Should we assume that this "Brand New 2K Restoration" of HITCH-HIKER is different from the "archival elements preserved by the Library of Congress" that were used for the 2013 Kino Blu-ray release of the film?

Yes!!! More Angie Dickinson on blu ray is a good thing. Could Captain Newman MD be on the horizon? :)

The color on the16mm IB Tech prints of The Art Of Love was some of the most blazing ever. Hopefully, it will carry over to the Blu-ray.

I really am excited about this one. I remember watching it on late night TV back in the eighties and I thought it was a blast. I don't know if it will hold up to my more mature tastes now, but I definitely want it for nostalgia's sake.

The System is a great early sixties b/w film (Nicolas Roeg DOP), set just before the sixties became, the sixties. Set in an English seaside holiday town, a group of lads (led by a very charismatic Oliver Reed) are looking for women (as you do) in their last summer before they go off to University or work. There's a real sense of, change is a'coming.
