We had planned to also release Number 17 and the Alfred Hitchcock - British International Pictures Collection [The Ring (1927)/The Farmer's Wife (1928)/Champagne (1928)/The Manxman (1929)/The Skin Game (1931)/Rich and Strange (1931)] on 8/13, Alfred Hitchcock's 120th Birthday, but the masters for Number 17 and Rich and Strange could not be ready in time. These other Hitchcock titles should be released in September or October.

8/13 is also Jean Gabin Noir Week!

The Front Page (1974) . When this was shown on a plane that Carol Burnett was a passenger on, she got up and apologized for her performance. She has a small part as Mollie Malloy, the prostitute. Not saying that this means the movie is not worth watching, I just remember this story. Its Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau directed by Billy Wilder after all.

The Bi Gan film poster advertises a 55-minute 3D tracking shot. Will it be in the Kino disc? Only a few (3?) theaters in the US are showing the 3D version.

Definitely in for Hercules in the Haunted World. Been waiting for more of these Italian sword and sandal films. Revolt of the Slaves was a great release. Re-watching that one currently.

This version is quite faithful to the original play, but the profane language seems even more exaggerated, and Wilder's direction doesn't zip along like the material requires. But Carol is right; she's the worst thing about this version of the movie. She's screechy and too self-conscious as Mollie and misses completely any poignancy one might have for her actions in the movie.

Never heard of that movie but will buy it just for that. Disgusted with the general treatment of home 3D, which to me has been the most exciting advancement in technology after hi-def, so will support any times it’s treated right!

Our release is a 2K restoration from the original camera negative of the European cut, Hercules in the Center of the Earth, it will include both English and Italian tracks and optional English subtitles for the Italian version and SDH English titles for the English one. The US cut Hercules in the Haunted World (in English) will be included as an extra, a new 2K scan from a 35mm collector's print.
