Thank you for the reply. Ive requested them before too :) I really think Konga deserves a chance and The Flame Barrier would fit right in with Curse of the Faceless Man, The Magnetic Monster etc. Im hoping KINO has made good profits to do a little splurging :D
Monstroid could be with Shout, they did release it via an Elvira DVD release.

Unfortunately, both Curse of the Faceless Man and The Magnetic Monster were not good sellers and one of them had an existing HD master. Both Konga and The Flame Barrier would need new HD transfers.

Well, I can live without a Konga blu because at least it's on DVD (and it's a bit of a turkey to boot... sorry, Konga fans....).

As for the news on Flame Barrier..... :(

Anyway, thanks KLI for your responsiveness. It's much appreciated.

And I cannot wait for The Maze! Bless you guys for carrying the 3D flag! :3dglasses:

I’d definitely be up for Paper Chase and Monsignor!

Konga might be a turkey to some, but to others its a wonderfully delicious turkey. There are far worse movies on Blu ray and Konga goes have a pretty strong following. I know many people would love a Blu ray release of it. Dare I say, go Ape ? :)

Ordered TOL Season One. Thanks again, KL! Can't wait!

I once again re-direct any fans to the episode-by-episode review site We Are Controlling Transmission, which went through the entire two seasons in 2011, and with comments, book pages, and participation by David J. Schow. When you get your box set, I suggest you read the notes and comments on each episode after you view that particular episode for some great and fascinating appreciations. In addition to the audio commentaries included on these discs, of course.

Do you know what the source for the soundtrack is? I hope they don't process it. The dvd audio was so badly noise-gated I stopped watching them.

Hi Stephen! I'm not sure---- the disc format is DTS, but that's no indicator of the actual source. I was provided with 720p time-coded scans for my commentaries, and the audio seemed.... maybe a bit clearer. Definitely louder. But again, I have no idea what the final 1080p encodes will sound like.

Kino Lorber Insider:

Is there any possibility that Kino Lorber could obtain the rights for a DVD release of the two-part television movie Attack on Terror; The F.B.I vs. the Ku Klux Klan that aired on CBS in 1975?
