The Montez/Hall films will either be released as stand alones, like the other three we've released or as a set. All 6 of these titles will be new 2K masters by KL.

Yeeeeessssssss!!!! When Tomorrow Comes with Irene Dunne and Charles Boyer. I’ve waited so long for a legitimate US release of this film- never imagined I’d see it on blu ray!!!

Bright Victory: Arthur Kennedy impressive as a blind veteran; Julia Adams in an unsympathetic role (alas!).
Little Man, What Now?: Frank Borzage and Margaret Sullavan. 'Nuff said. Pretty good adaptation of Hans Fallada's best-selling novel (good read, btw). A bit sanitized even though it's a pre-Code, but it's still strong stuff.
When Tomorrow Comes: John Stahl directs Dunne and Boyer and the Long Island hurricane of 1938. Great romantic film.
White Woman: Have not seen this one, but what's not to like? Lombard and Laughton sweating it out in the tropics where Lombard is the only white woman surrounded by horny men.
The Montez/Hall films will satisfy lovers of camp. I'll bite.

The caddish Freddy Benson (Brando) enjoys setting up elaborate ruses to seduce women. The suave Lawrence Jameson (Niven) likes to pose as a prince to swindle the wealthy. When the two men meet, each perceives the other as an interloper and a threat. Upon the arrival of vacationing soap heiress Janet Walker (Jones), the two sweet-talking scoundrels compete to trick her out of both her clothes and her fortune. Written by Stanley Shapiro (Pillow Talk) and Paul Henning (Lover Come Back), directed by Ralph Levy (Do Not Disturb), and later remade as 1988’s Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Bedtime Story is the funniest story ever put between covers!

Looking forward to this one. Several years ago I bought a Region 2 DVD and it turned out to be virtually unwatchable. It was released by some company called Cornerstone Media. Not only is the picture quality poor, but it also is cropped. Yet somehow it gets a 4-star rating at Amazon.uk.

Great! Looks like I can retire my MOD DVD of the movie.

I am glad I didn't already have the DVD of this. It's nice when you can get a blu of something that you didn't have on DVD already. Then you don't have to worry what to do with the DVD.

Many of the so-called "reviews" on Amazon come from people with small screens, even smaller knowledge about movies and smaller still concern about picture quality.
