I think KH is too odd for TV right now.... its not the typical thriller (if you can call it that) I think it moves along too slowly.

I was wondering, was Kingdom Hospital meant to return for more seasons if it had been more popular or was it always meant to be a mini-series like the Danish mini-series it is based on?

Supposedly, King has stories outlined for Season 2, which is obviously not going to happen. Even with that being the case, I gather they intended for this Thursday's finale to have closure for most of this year's stories.

Yep, they had hoped to continue on with more episodes...until the ratings evaporated.
