I just read about this in my news app. I didn't see the Skull Island film, but it does raise an eyebrow if it indeed becomes a TV series.

The movie was open ended enough that they could do another movie or TV show. I enjoyed the movie a lot. I thought it had a very Apocalypse Now feel to it.

The article is a little vague, but it sounds like this series actually isn't connected to the Legendary monster universe. If it were, I'd think Legendary would be involved.

It calls the series a reboot. A reboot of what? We've just had one movie of Skull Island, seems a little to early to reboot that. The movie is at least a partial reboot of King Kong.

Is the series not going to acknowledge the latest movie except for the title? Despite my confusion I hope it's good. I can definitely go for a big MFing gorilla on TV.

Why else did I buy a 4K 65" screen. I know, I know, you guys have bigger ones, but I suffer less screen envy since getting my LG.
