Kid Stays In The Picture...when is it coming onto DVD (1 Viewer)

I thought one of the upcoming months would have more info on the possible release of The Kid Stays In The Picture, the Robert Evans documentary released last year, but it hasn't...does anyone know any official/unofficial word on to when this will be coming out on DVD??? Can anyone help me out?? Extras? dates? etc.?

It's out in Canada.

Alliance, pretty much barebones but it's anamorphic. I don't have the disc but I've been thinking about picking it up. Without a doubt one of my favorites from last year.

What is really odd is that I saw HBO advertising this will be on in May.

Usually the DVD release comes first before premium channel showings.

I might have to Tivo it-- I missed the theatrical run and I really want to see it.

Alliance, pretty much barebones but it's anamorphic.

It IS barebones, actually.

The film is nicely mastered in 16x9 and Dolby Digital 5.1/2.0.

A friend of mine who works at a post-production house saw his colleagues working on special features for a U.S. DVD release. I don't know who's doing it or when, but indications are that an announcement is due shortly.
I would assume the company would be Universal since their Focus division released it theatrically, but I do not know this as a certainty.

The reason why is because they are not airing this as a movie. They are airing this as a America Undercover special. I wish I knew why? But that doesn't matter because I can't wait until it premieres.

It premieres on Thursday May 22 only on HBO.
