Out of the movies I've seen Kevin Spacey in, I've found that I've pretty much loved his work. I think he's a great actor. He's one of my all time favorites. The movies I've seen of his are:

    American Beauty
    Pay It Forward
    Outbreak
    Seven
    Usual Suspects
    A Bug's Life
    LA Confidential
    A Time to Kill
    Iron Will
See No Evil, Hear No Evil

American Beauty, Seven, Usual Suspects, and LA Confidential are some of my all time favorite movies.

There's still alot of Kevin Spacey's movies I wanna see. The main ones are:

    The Ref
    The Negotiator
    Working Girl
    Hurlyburly
    Big Kahuna
    K-PAX

So what does everyone here think of Kevin Spacey?

An excellent Actor. Surely one of the best. One of my favorites along with Robert De Niro.

The master of the nuanced, subtle, understated yet powerful performance today.
I didn't know he was in A Bugs Life.
The Negotiator is an excellent action movie, check it out [IMG]

Kevin Spacey is right up there with the cream of American acting talent, IMO. Probably only a couple I'd rank higher than him (Hackman & De Niro).
I second The Negotiator. Still waiting for a 2-disc SE... [IMG]
Also, Working Girl is a fantastic movie, although Spacey's appearance is a cameo (but memorable though, as always).

The Negotiator should be the very next movie you rent. Not only is he good in it, you also have another very good actor sharing the lead (Samuel L. Jackson). The whole movie just works as a whole, good action, good acting.

He was very good in the Big Kahuna as well.

Damn, almost forgot about K-PAX. Guess what? Another great performance.

I have a love/hate attitude towards Spacey. I think he's extremely talented, but most of the movies I see with him in it really bug me. There are exceptions, most noticeably LA Confidential.

You also might want to check out Glengarry Glen Ross.
It's a supporting role, but he does a good job IMO.

The Big Kahuna and Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil are two excellent, underrated films with great performances by Spacey.

don't forget his role in the TV series Wiseguy. he was absolutely brilliant.
(although acting lustful towards Joan Severance can't be the most difficult acting gig in the world... [IMG] )

Kevin Spacey is one of the finest actors ever! Every film he does, he hits the ball out of the park, he's like the 'Babe Ruth' of thespians!
You've got to check out The Ref, not only is the film extremly funny, but also has a serious side to it as well. It's played mainly for laughs, but when Kevin Spacey and Judy Davis square off, which is all the time, watch out!
And i'll second Swimming with Sharks. Kevin is the boss from hell who torments poor new employee Frank Whaley mercilessly.
As for The Negotiator, it's one of the best taking hostages-to-save-my-ass type action thrillers ever made. [IMG]

Spacey fans should definately check out "The Shipping News" as well. He's also impressive in that role.

I agree that he was one the best actors working in film today. BTW, my fiancee met him at a fundraiser and said that he was very nice.
