:)from what i have read in the groups here, is that the 6060
and 6070 have the same amps and same features except the
6070 is more powerfull,so why is the 6070 thx certified and the
6060 is not?and does thx certified really mean anything.

Since the 6060 and 6070 do have the same amps and power supplies, I don't know that there's any sense in which the 6070 is "more powerful". A reason I got a 6070 is that it has preamplifier outputs, including two pre-outs for two back surround speakers (which I use with my old receiver as amplifier). I don't know of any specific benefit of the THX certification that distinguishes between the two models. The 6070 does have THX processing modes, but so far, I haven't noticed any improvement in the sound by using them.

I have 6060, have loved it from day one. Its good buy for its price.
And also it has the same amps and power supply as 6070. It puts out 92 watts per channel.

THX certification costs money, they don't do it for free. This adds to the cost of the hardware.

So there could be many other products that might pass the certification process if they were tested.
