I'm trying to get hold of a set of Kef Q's (5's, 1's and 9s) and my local dealer is screwing me around. I've seen a few online dealers (unauthourized no doubt) and Soundpros seems to have the best return policy, honours manufacturers warranty and is 'close' in case of a need to return.
So, does anyone have any major reservations (or good experiences with things like repairs etc) about these guys, so far it seeems to be generally positive...
Of course, if you want to critique the speaker choice, too, go ahead, I'm pairing them with an RX-V 2300.

sorry to hear, did you try the dealer up in Marin right off 101 before San Rafael?
I have 3 Q75s and 2 Q70s in my main set up and bought them all over the internet and got great deals. UPS dropped one and didnt have a problem with the dealer getting it repaired
good luck
what part of the city are you in?

I'm in Nob Hill (lower) at the moment but may be moving to a larger place more suited to my HT needs. Which dealer did you see in Marin and who did you use online?

Tobias:

I have sent you a private message with the name of an authorized KEF dealer who will give a good discount (and he provides great service).

World of Sound in Mill Valley's Strawberry Shopping Center. You can see it from the freeway.

I have been seeing a good many for rent signs in my neighborhood, let me know if you are interested and I'll keep an eye out ( Our dogs move very slow so I see "for rent' signs when I walk them)
