I have spy game and it is in a keep case. I have not seen it in a snapper.

I bought a used 13 ghosts (warner) from hollywood video and it came in a snapper. oops, I meant to say that it came in a keep case not a snapper.

"I Am Sam" is a New Line release and part of their platinum series. I doubt that it will be in a keep case. Amazon isn't usually that accurate in their information, especially before it comes out from my experience. Looking forward to this one though.

Warner Home Video uses snapper saves for new two-disc sets.

New Line Home Entertainment & HBO Home Video, which are under Warner Home Video, can use alternative casing if they wish. Most releases, however, are in a snapper casing.

As stated previously...

AOL-Time Warner owns a portion of Ivy Hill and mandates that Warner Home Video use the snapper. WHV had to make a special plea following consumer complaints about the packaging for the two-disc Oliver Stone film releases. As a result Ivy Hill began making the digipack casing. New Line Home Entertainment & HBO Home Video are under Warner Home Video and Warner Home Video gives them more leeway in terms of packaging, artwork, and casing choices.

Which is why Sex & The City, The Sopranos, and Oz have that unique case. Which also explains why New Line's Infinifilm and select family titles are packaged in keepcases.

As for Spy Game...

It was never in a snapper casing. It has always been in a keepcase in R1. Amazon.com's information is wrong.

Here in the UK, "The Third Man" was released in a keepcase, despite being a Warners/Studio Canal title(previous Warners/Studio Canal titles had been released in snappers).

I didn't notice until I saw it stacked sideways on a shop shelf - it was so strange to see the Warners Bros logo under plastic on a keepcase spine.
