    RenZam,

    To help people answer you in an informed way, you may want to add some information such as:

    1) Your listening habits (music, HT etc)
    2) Room size
    3) Typical volume you play at relative to reference
    4) Any inadequacies you percieve in the sound from your current sub.
    5) Current sub placement

    Depending on this the answer could be:
    * Keep the Sunfire
    * Get the dual SVS's
    * Get a SVS PB-2+ (or other SVS box model) for your room)
    * Have both the Sunfine and the dual SVS's (other SVS)
    * Consider Brand X (HSU VTF-3 etc)

    Otherwise you will get more "this sub is best" opinions rather than the great informed advice this forum is capable of [IMG]

    Unless there is some other overriding factor, I would advise getting the powered cylinders if you are going to make the switch to SVS. The integrated amp and feature set IMO provides a significant advantage over the passive series.

    Also, the 16-46 cylinder is tuned SO low, it will extend to about 12 Hz in most room in the stock tune. I think for almost all common music and HT applications, the 20-39 cylinder is a better choice, providing a better mix of still excellent extension (17 Hz in most rooms) and stronger (by a few dB) output in the >18 Hz region.

    3) Typical volume you play at relative to reference
    depends..you guys know how it is if the wife is watching movies with me we have all heard it.."turn it down it doesn't need to be that loud" most of the time i don't know if this means anything we listen to our movies at -20

    4) Any inadequacies you perceive in the sound from your current sub.
    None i just have the upgrade bug..maybe also it the fact i like to feel my movies and the sunfire just is not doing it any more

    5) Current sub placement
    I have always had it in a corner from what i have read the sub preforms better in a corner
