The same year, Sinbad did appear in the Disney movie First Kid, which ended up being Sonny Bono's final film. That I actually saw in theaters and barely remember. The director of that one, David Mickey Evans, is better known for having directed The Sandlot three years earlier, which is now Disney-by-proxy thanks to their latest merger.
