I just found out youTube is littered with clips from JUSTICE LEAGUE: THE PARADOX FLASHPOINT, some with actual spoilers, one of which I accidentally watched. At any rate the action on this movie looks nothing like they have done on any other DC animated flick. I only watched 3, and I saw there were 15 in total. Shit.

What's the rating on this movie? Because one of those clips shows a villian take a bullet THROUGH the head. A very rated R shot. WHAT?! Sweet! Here's ONE more clip I'll post, but stay away from looking up anything else up on YouTube. String those 15 clips together and I bet you could watch MOST of the movie.

This one here hints at more of the insane action.

It should be PG-13 or R. It's..well, out of those that I've seen I really didn't care for it. The plotting was very mediocre and I disliked the central premise. But that said, the action was good.

Confirmed Details For 2014 “Son of Batman” And “Batman: Assault on Arkham” Animated Features
A representative for Warner Home Video has confirmed details for the freshly-announced Son of Batman and Batman: Assault on Arkham direct-to-video animated features, part of the 2014 DC Universe Animated Original Movie release calendar. Warner Home Video released details on these upcoming features Friday night, July 19th, 2013, at the 2013 San Diego Comic-Con. A co-production of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Group, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation, the DC Universe Animated Original Movie line adapts stories from DC Comics lore mixed with new content.

The World’s Finest has received confirmation that Son of Batman, currently scheduled for a Summer 2014 release, will adapt the Grant Morrison “Batman and Son” storyline from the Batman comic title published by DC Comics. The film is currently in production. No cast and crew details are available as of yet, but are expected to be announced in late 2013/early 2014.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that Batman: Assault on Arkham animated feature will take place in the same world and continuity as the popular Batman: Arkham video game series. The feature will be based on the world established by the acclaimed video game franchise, with some talent involved with those games slated to be part of the Batman: Assault on Arkham animated feature. The title is expected for a Fall 2014 release as an extension of the growing brand.
Additionally, The World’s Finest received confirmation that voice recording for the first title in the 2015 line-up of DC Universe Animated Original Movies titles is currently underway.

For those who don't know THE SPECTACULAR SPIDER-MAN is being re-run on the CW network, Saturday mornings at 9am. I think they're up to episode 3. Both seasons will be aired, too.

Now that is awesome. Thank you whichever side got this to happen. I don't even care if i don't like the episode itself the fact they gave the characters a shot is well worth applauding.

I had heard about the others (i.e. Blade, Jack Russell and The Living Mummy) but the clincher for me, when I learned about this earlier, was Man-Thing! I thought, 'Holy shit, Man-Thing is getting animated?! Sweet!' I still say Marvel needs to give him his own toon series.

I just got around to watching the Flashpoint Paradox film, and... are you kidding me? It was grotesque. I cannot believe the treatment of these iconic characters. I was really shocked and appalled that DC wouldn't protect the images of their characters, some of which have been around 75 years. So much killing and brutality; it's not at all what I want to see in a superhero film. Game of Thrones? Yes, bring it! But not here. Also, I didn't care for the character design - faces were either too angular (Flash) or incredibly thick (Aquaman, Thomas Wayne). I could never show this to my kids.By far, this was the worst DC animated movie. I hope things get better real soon, or I'm dropping this series of films. Why not a slightly more mature version of Bruce Timm's Justice League? That's still the best interpretation of those characters yet.

Flashpoint Paradox -- Terrible, terrible, terrible.

I'll be waiting for the reviews for JL: War. If it's going to be pornographically violent like Flashpoint, I will gladly pass.

I've seen some of the violent scenes from it. They didn't really bother me. I plan to try and get it along with SUPERMAN UNBOUND and BATMAN: THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS DELUXE-- all of which I have NOT seen yet -- on or around Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Oh, and here's the cover art for WAR. It streets on 2/4/'14.

Aside from the music in the trailer being absolutely obnoxious, I'm cautiously excited for War. I've been let down by other films in the series after spectacular trailers, so I'm hedging my bets this time.
