JVC I'Art Pro AV-48P575 (1 Viewer)

Futureshop has them on sale right now for $1299 and i'm thinking about finally taking the plunge and buying a RPTV.

i haven't been able to find any really solid in-depth reviews on this set but have heard good things in general about the i'art series from JVC. is anyone using this set? how well does it perform?



just looking for some heads up while doing some research. i might pick it up this week.

i am still pretty leery because i read one post where a jvc 48 was complaining that his set had no contrast adjustment !!!

he may be wrong but it made me think about the issues of tweakability and so on, it might have very limited menus

i was in the bay yesterday and they were closing out some 46 hitachis for around 1200

are you near a bay?

yeah, we have a bay location about 45 mins from here
i could always check and see what they have availible
