I’ve had my NX5 installed for 3 days now. It is exceeding my expectations in every aspect. My previous 570R doesn’t even compare.

I’m watching 4K and HDR content again like it’s the first time.

I’m watching 4K and HDR content again like it’s the first time.

I can’t express enough of how much the NX5 is a monstrous upgrade over the 570R or prior/lesser projectors.

The NX5 is (obviously) in my opinion a HUGE upgrade.

I can’t say if the NX7 would have been worth the additional coin. It’s hard to find a place to compare them side by side or even close.

I can only say I’m currently wanting for nothing in picture pleasure.

It really is an impressive projector. JVC really does a better job with their optics/lenses than Sony until you get to the ARC-F lens in the 9XX series.

@Robert_Zohn - any idea why Sony's lenses are so inferior?

Great to hear it! JVC N5 / N7 remain on my wishlist for upgrade from my HD Sony 40ES.

Great to hear it! JVC N5 / N7 remain on my wishlist for upgrade from my HD Sony 40ES.

I cannot speak for the Sony but compared to my previous JVC models (570R and X35A) this projector stands in a completely different class.

Not all upgrades are worth their associated costs. This one is without question.
