Hi John,

Have you had the chance to figure out how to reduce the glare

from your beautiful new Pioneer 643hd5?

I'm not sure if I should reshuffle or just place spacers in the screen sandwich. My first thought is to reshuffle so that I don't get any sagging, but I think I'm gonna read all the pros and cons first and ask a few ISF guys what they think.

I've heard the new Pioneer's glare is sometimes real noticable.

Will: The Glare is bad! And the only way to reduce the glare is to remove the room light, or remove the glare screen. I did get the instructions on how to remove the screen from Michael TLV but haven't had the time to actually do it yet. And yes, the process is different and tougher to do than it was on last years models.

Hi John,

On 2002 Pioneer Elites, I understand it's difficult to remove

any screen except the outermost (glare) screen. The choice

is keep or remove that (one) screen. There may be screens

underneath but they're as I understand it, *not* easy to remove.

Don't know if this applies to 2002 Pioneer non-Elites

or not.

Did you ever get the chance to remove the front screen? Can you give me the instructions on how to do this?

THanks,
