and was wondering if the DVID-HDMI cable that it comes with is sufficient for my setup(I am running it to a Toshiba 46" DLP). Or should I look at buying a better cable? It is my understanding that if it is a digital signal the quality of the wire is not to important...Right?

I would say the included cable is fine. You are correct that the digital signals are a lot-less sensitive to the cable.

But... look at the cable. Do the ends look secure or is the connector loose at the end of the cable? Does the cable feel loose/flimsey or is it stiff? These might be an indicator that you should buy a decent cable.

(Sometimes the included cables are quite decent, other times they are crap).
