I went this weekend w/my girlfriend to celebrate my birthday.
Great trip!
We stayed at New York New York. It was cheap, but it was a nice room.
We got to go to awesome bars, clubs, and listen to cool cover bands.
She doesn't gamble a lot like me, so we both played lots of Wheel Of Fortune slot machines -- very fun. Didn't get any big jackpots, but had lots of fun.
Then while she played some roulette, I went to play craps for the first time (I learned from the other dude that just came back from Vegas who posted a thread, and on my Hoyles Casino game).
Craps is fun as hell!!!!!!
I was real hesitant to be the shooter at first, but after a few games here and there, I gave it a shot. Boy was I hot. I was on for about 9 rolls, and I made people LOTS of money. The guy next to me was so drunk, and he was playing w/$500 chips -- and every time he won, he threw me a $25 chip.

The whole table was tipping me and throwing me chips. Man, I thought stuff like that happens only in the movies -- but it was so cool to have such a great time and having strangers give you hugs and high fives because you make them money.
I also did some blackjack, and I did really well on that too -- i made more than enough to pay for our trip (including hotel, drinks, food, club cover charge, tips, etc), and we had a nice shopping spree at the outlets and the malls in Ceasar and Venetian.

Did play some craps, roulette and blackjack, but I went down to O'Shea's for that since they have $3.00 tables going all the time. Can't say I won money, since I spent more than I took in. But I went there with money I expected to blow and came back with a lot more of it than I thought. Definitely look forward to going back, though it probably won't be a five day stay next time. 3-4 days would be fine with me.
