Just finished FFX! (1 Viewer)

After more than 65 hours of gameplay, I finally went in and finished the game.
My reaction? Wow.
The ending was one of the best I've seen - very strong emotional impact, very moving, without going overboard. The greatest thing about it is that I paid less attention to the CG-wow-factor than I did to the actual characters. The past 2 FFs have left me just wanting to see some whiz-bang special effects without caring much for the characters.
FFX is definitely more inspired than that last two offerings on the Playstation (VIII and IX), and I think it's one of the best FFs ever.
Definitely worth picking up, even if you've been somewhat jaded about the others. Let's just hope that they don't botch up the voice acting with Resident Evil-style "acting" ("You, Jill, the master of lockpicking..."

I doubt Square will screw it up. Even if they do, you can just have someone else read the subtitles out loud in different voices for you.
