Did RhinoCables cease operations?
Yeah, that's weird that their web site is down. To me, it would also be sad. Rhino was one of the best online cable companies out there. Good quality, good materials, good customer service, all at a reasonable price.
Their domain registration expired on 8/21. Maybe they just forgot to renew.
Rhino Cables is still operating. I spoke to Mark on Tuesday morning after noticing their website had been down over the entire weekend. They are in the middle of an unplanned hosting change and will be changing to RhinoCables.net
Apparently their old hosting company has control of the .com domain and it will take time to wrestle it back from them.
Until the .net name domain propogates (?) they can be reached using this link:
well i've seen wall street companies forget to renew their registrations. kinda funny when that happens.
for a large company, someone's head'll roll for that 'easy to miss'. anyways, glad to see someone's up in the North country ministering to the needy. competition is good.
I'm an estimator for a small construction company, and one of my jobs is to maintain the network, etc. One Monday morning someone asked "why can't I send e-mail?" After wiping the egg off my face, I renewed our domain for 5 years. :b
