Yeah. I've seen the good SE for Dogma at like no more than 20 bucks easy. If you're checking all the suncoast video's there's your problem. Mallrats is the only costly one I know of and you can find it for like 22 or 25 bucks.

Todd...don't open it yet. Return it and get it at Best Buy/BestBuy.com for $14.99. Unfortunately, you just missed out on Best Buy's sale this past weekend - Dogma was selling for $11.99.

The special edition comes in a double amaray inside a orange/amber colored cardboard sleeve. It is well worth the extra$$$ if you're a fan of the movie

As some who works at a Suncoast (albeit part-time), I don't recommend solely shopping there. Occasionally there are decent prices to be had at Suncoast, but it definitely pays to shop around. Every once in a while, you'll find an overlooked gem or two at the 'Coast like the Criterion Robocop or Silence of the Lambs.

You got ripped off. According to DVD Price Search, this can be had for less than half what you paid.

Yes, quite expensive but the SE is well worth it, as is the movie alone. The extras are a riot; ben and matt really surprised me with their improv skills. Some very funny stuff on those two discs.

Suncoast is the worst place to buy DVDs.

It is a trap for people who don't know better.

Everyone knows that there is a single disc edition out right? I picked up the two disc editions of Jay And Silent Bob and Clerks but did not see the two disc Dogma on sale.

There is a 2 disc Clerks? I have every kevin Smith movie, but I'm missing clerks, I haven't found it anywhere. I got mallrats for a great deal used for $10, as well as Jay And Silent Bob.

I think he means Dogma. The single disc of Dogma is blue, the 2 disc one is red and orange in a double keepcase with a carboard cover.

I love browsing through Suncoast at our mall for a few DVD's I've been looking for and then going down the hall to Target to find the same ones for $10+ less. Or maybe having to go down the street to Borders to find it at least 5+ dollars cheaper. There selection is pretty nice but Borders seems to be getting as good or better when it comes to boxed sets.

The two-disc clerks he is referring to is the 2-disc Clerks: The Animated Series dvd release. It is quite funny.
