just bought 7200 series polk. I need a sub (1 Viewer)

My friend sold me his 7200 series polk's. He's upgrading.
I need a sub for around $500-$600. My friend said go with
the psw550 polk. I think he is in love with polkaudio.
I am new to the home theater phenomenom.

Except for their subwoofers. Well, not for what they cost anyway. I agree with Bry on SVS and will also suggest
Link Removed. Unless of course you have some tools and would like to DIY. In that case I would build a Tempest with a 320watt Bash amp (both from Kyle at Acoustic Visions). Add in enclosure costs and you'll have one incredible sub for about $425. And yes, it will stomp all over any Polk audio offering. If that interests you then head on over to the DIY section.
