Ironically enough considering the situation, this puts Treverrow in a similar position to J.J. Abrams, as they are both now directing the first and third installments of major franchise-revival trilogies after sitting out the second installment.

Just saw JURASSIC WORLD -HIDDEN KINGDOM.Much better that all the recent Marvel Comic's films.
It may not have reached the heights of the first JURASSIC PARK film but is still most enjoyable.

The short takes place one year after the events of the last Jurassic World film in Big Rock National Park, where dinosaurs are now living in our world. The story follows a family of four whose encounter with these wild animals becomes a terrifying fight for survival.

Dern and Neill will now be studying live dinosaurs rather than just digging up the fossilized bones.

Goldblum will simply stand around and say, "I told you so."

That's a nice touch, adding the original cast. I suspect they will have limited roles, not unlike the original actors in the Star Wars films.

I’m not used to seeing a short like that having so much production value. That was very good. Gee, do ya think dinosaurs in America is going to be a big part of the next JW?

Pretty awesome for a short film, and the scenes during the credits, wow.
But still, how many times can we see small children almost being eaten by dinos beacuse their parents don't understand/know/realize the danger? Hasn't that been the theme for the last five or six movies?
And that camera, man, I swear it was not steady one second, felt like a documentary shot by a spastic, but maybe that was the point.
