Could someone please explain to me what judder is in dvd terms? I was under the impression that this was related to region 1 discs (problems with display rates) but i recently read a review of a cheap region 2 player that suffered this problem. What i would also like to know is would i have this problem on a high quality dvd player? I am curious because i have not seen any complaints relating to this problem with region 2 players before.

    Beware the Judderman my friend!

Isn't this normally caused by the interlaced properties of a televison screen combined with the limted resolution?
