I've seen four on this list:
Cat People
Do the Right Thing
The Night of the Hunter
Sunrise
Only Cat People strikes me as out of place. It might be the best of the b-films, but it's still a b-film...then again, I'm not equipped to say how it fit in viz a viz 1940s b-films; perhaps I'm not qualified to comment on its merits. None of these would be at the top of any list I'd make, but towards the bottom? it's hard to say.

Interesting that Eadweard Muybridge, Zoopraxographer is so obscure that IMDB haven't even received the 5 votes necessary to grant a rating. :)

The Reader now charges to access Rosenbaum's older reviews. All that does is marginalize him and takes him further out of any critical spotlight. I'd be very unhappy if I were Rosenbaum.

I have a friend who's working his way through this list. Last time I checked he had about 15-20 to go.

I'm not doing so well, I've seen 20, and they're all pretty big/mainstream names:

An Affair to Remember (1957)
Bride of Frankenstein (1935)
Cat People (1942)
Freaks (1932)
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953)
Gilda (1946)
The Heartbreak Kid (1972)
Housekeeping (1987)
The Hustler (1961)
Johnny Guitar (1954)
The Killing (1956)
The Killing of a Chinese Bookie (1976)
Meet Me in St. Louis (1944)
The Night of the Hunter (1955)
The Nutty Professor (1963)
Rio Bravo (1959)
Scarface (1932)
Sylvia Scarlett (1935)
That's Entertainment! III (1994)
Woodstock (1970)

There were a handful of others that I thought maybe I'd seen as a kid on TV, but couldn't be sure, so I left them out.
