From ShowBiz Data:
Despite numerous reports that the partnership between Walt Disney Co. and Pixar Animation Company might come apart largely because of frosty relations between Disney chief Michael Eisner and Pixar chief Steve Jobs, the two recently dined together and discussed conditions for a new deal to extend their companies' relationship, the Los Angeles Times reported today (Wednesday). The current partnership expires in November, 2005. The Times quoted unnamed sources as saying that the two men seem more optimistic than they were in the past about extending the association, with Eisner, in particular, willing to make new concessions to Jobs, who reportedly is looking for a deal with Disney that would mirror George Lucas's deal with Fox in which Pixar would retain all the profits from its films and simply pay Disney a fee to distribute them
