There was a thread last month concerning some old foods that you couldn't find anymore in stores. One of the things mentioned in the thread were Jello Pudding Pops. Well ladies and gents...they are back!!! Check your local ice cream isle at the grocery. I found these at Winn Dixie. Rejoice [IMG].

I was coming here to post the EXACT same thread!!!!

    Here is a store locator.

    Select Popsicle then drill down.

Albertson's has them and they are only 2 miles away from my home. You can bet your ass I will be getting a box or two.

I'll ask this since no one else has yet:

Do they taste the way you remembered? Nothing is more disappointing than finding something you liked as a child and discovering that they have changed the way they make it and it tastes completely different. I absolutely loved pudding pops, so I hope they still make them the same way.

    Dome,

It is the Ghetto Winn Dixie on Virginia...right across from my apartment complex [IMG]

    Mike,

They taste divine!!! They are shaped differently than before though...I don't think they give you nearly as much pop on the stick as they used to. Oh well.

Did you check the date? Perhaps they're freezer fossils. [IMG]

    Brandon-

Thanks! I did a search and apparently the Stop & Shop down the road from me carries them! These were one of my all time favorites as a kid. Looks like I'll be stopping at the grocery store on the way home [IMG]

Sheesh, I thought commercial posts were banned from the HTF?

I don't think they could pay for better advertising... [IMG]

Yeah, they are no longer in a thin, paddle shape like they used to be. They are now in a 1 inch by 1 inch by 5 inch bar. But they taste just like you remembered. They even get that thin icy crust built up toward the bottom!
