A luminary of international cinema has been extinguished, but her radiance lives on for us where it matters: in our memories and in our screens. She will always be great! RIP.
Saddened by her passing but happy she lived such a long & fulfilling life. We of course remember her in films like The Bride Wore Black (1965) and my personal favorite, Viva Maria (1965).
I fell in love with Jeanne Moreau when I was in high school, and the local art theatre, the Village in Claremont California, showed Jacques Demy's "Bay of the Angels" . I still love the film and Moreau's radiant performance in it.
