JBL TLX Center2- Any good? Any info appreciated. (2 Viewers)

I'm trying to find out why I can't hear out of my center speaker very well and was wondering if the JBL TLX Center2 could be the problem. Is the center any good? I bought it from BB 4 yrs. ago for $169 and am hoping it's not the reason why I can't hear dialogue very well.

Have you REFERENCE Calibrated your HT Setup using one of the following test tones ...

1) Internal AV Receiver Test Tones @ 75 dB*?

2) Video Essentials DVD @ 75 dB*?

3) AVIA DVD @ 85 dB*?

4) Sound&Vision HT Tune-up DVD @ 85 dB*?

*dB SPL Monitored using Radio Shack Analog SPL Meter @ your 'sweet spot'.
