A dealer is offering me this trade. JBL+money for B&W . I talked to him while buying my amp, and he told me the JBLs are good for hometheathers, but to have high-end musical sound, I would need another speaker, in the case, the B&W DM601. Analysing it, I realized the JBL had more power (200x125), but the B&W is more sensitive. Anyway, my main concern is the JBL not corresponding to my listening needs. What do you guys think? Would you do this trade, or keep the JBL?
On another note, as I told you guys, i was buying the amp. I was going for the Adcom 5800(250w)+Pre Rotel RC-972. But the dealer offered me the Rokson Kandy (110w) integrated, said I would have good quality and I would save in cables expenses. Basically I could go either with one of these combos, in order of amount I would spend:
1.S310II+Adcom 5800+Rotel RC972
2.S310II+Rokson Kandy KA-1 Integrated
3.DM601 S3+Rokson Kandy KA-1 Integrated
My main priority is music quality. I want a high end system, but also need some power because I throw a party here or there. But quality is essential here. What would be your suggestion?
