Just purchased a brand new PB 10 subwoofer. On the back of the sub is a toggle switch that switches between normal and LFE. Since I am running the sub from a digital receiver the manual says to set the toggle switch to LFE, this then overrides the crossover control (it does not function). However, when I set the toggle to normal, the crossover control hardly has any effect. I am wondering if this is normal because of my digital receiver, or it the crossover control is not working properly? The sound seems to be pretty good, and the volume control still works fine. The woofer is 150 watts, and is ten inches. Any ideas?

Your receiver probably has a built in crossover so the signal it sends is already filtered, thus there is no need for the crossover on the sub.
