Looks like a really good budget system.

I love my HK 320, wouldn't trade for anything(yet).

Some may question inefficent speakers (N24 = 86db) with a low powered amp (45x5?)

I run the 110 with 86db NHT's and it's great in a relatively large room, so no worries.

I've got that set-up with a KSW12 for the "low end". It sounds absolutely great. My room is very masive (20ft cathedrals) and it fills the room beautifully. Power is not an issue with the H/K's despite the ratings. It pounces on my 100x5 Sony. The NSP1 is also surprising for its size as long as you have a sub. I usually watch movies at the loudest at -5 and the receiver can go up to around +5 cleanly in my room. I say go for it!

It's a great match and will sound wonderful. Get it. I have a similar set-up: h/k 225 w/N38ii, N-center, N-24.

Enjoy.

What do you all think these speakers (JBL NSP1) will sound with my Harmon Kardon AVR 125 receiver? ... As for the power subwoofer I have an DCM 10".
Should be fine once you REFERENCE Calibrate & balance the 5 HT speaker SPL's / sub vs. HT room.
A quick simple SPL vs. Watt calculation reveals you should easily reach 100 dB - enough to disturb your neighbor.
Rules:
1: It takes at least 3 dB of SPL for the human hearing to perceive an increase of loudness.
2: In terms of Power output vs SPL, too achieve 3 dB increase of SPL requires doubling (x2) the Power (Watts).
Watts...SPL (dB)
1.......86 (JBL N24 Sensitivity rating)
2.......89
4.......92
8.......95
16.......98
32.......101
64.......104
128......107
For a more accurate SPL figure, use C.M.Collins excellent SPL Calculator, which will compute the predicted maximum sound pressure level (loudness) at the listening position.
