Everything I have read says to get those speakers off the walls. you know to avoid un wanted reflections, etc.

Now I notice alot of people wall mount there JBL N24s.

Are there wall mount brackets that extend out like arms from the wall say 24 to 48inches?

thanks,

I am using the N-24's with the brackets that come with them

and they sound fine. I have the complete package (nsp-1

with a PB-10 sub) powered by an Onkyo 575. I have been well satisfied with this package for over a year now. I wouldn't worry about them being close to the walls as I have had no problems with arrangement.

The N24s are so small and compact they go great on the walls. I used some EZ-Wall anchors from Home Depot and the original brackets. If I had the space I would test them on some stands but for my application it's either on the wall or on the floor. Stands would just get in the way.

I must admit though there has to be a better position for them sonically than where they are now. I've heard much better ambience from other systems. If anyone has them on stands for the rears or just did comparisons tell us how it sounds.
