JBL N24 stands (1 Viewer)

I was wondering if anyone was using Furniture Works RB-1 or RC-1 speaker stands (by Omnimount) with their JBL N24's. I'd like to use adjustable ones with my NSP1 speakers.

I have a pair of RC1 knock-offs. Link
They don't hold the N24's very well from the side due to the spkrs curved shape. I'm going to make some wood bases that will fill up the gap between the vertical lips and mount to the stand. Then either velcro or bolt to the speaker.
Other than that they (stands) are nice and look good with the N24's.

ps. Does Anyone know what size of bolt will fit the bottom mounting threads? It's bigger than the rear mounting.
