I'm looking for some hi fi in walls at a value price. These JBL's can be found under $200 pr but I don't have the luxury of auditioning them since no one locally carries them.

I like the Northridge speakers but havn't heard th new E versions. I contacted JBL support and was told the HTi in walls are completely different tech than the Northridge and not a matching speaker. So I have no reference point at all.

If anyone has any experience with these JBL's and how they might compare to the Polk RTi or TCi I would appreciate your comments. Also if their are any other recommendations in the under $250 pr mark please yell.

Thanks.

My first question would be, what are you using for mains? If you have larger main speakers, you may not get the sound you want from in-walls.

This is for a stereo only application in various rooms and the in-walls are the mains.
