I bought the live recording of this performance on CD. I'm totally into Jay-Z! I'm dying to see this released on DVD... but for the time being *GASP!*...
Did anyone here on the forum manage to tape this on MTV2 when it aired a few months ago? I'd die to get my hands on a copy... S-VHS preferably. hee hee...

I think the presence of The Roots made that album much better. Live instruments give a mellow sound to hip-hop that no amount of synthesizing can replicate...
