    Hi
I watched Jay Lenno on the DTV feed from NYC with the double bow tie.
Even though it looked better than it did on dishnet and cable, it did not look as good as the HDTV feed I saw at the Harveys electronics store.
How can I be certain that it is actually HDTV and not just DTV? The reception quality seemed similar to the HBO non-HDTV feed I get via DishNet.
Does that sound right to you guys? I was watching it on a Sony 53HS10 using Normal mode on the Dish 6000.
    Thanks
    Eram

If Leno was in 16x9 widescreen, it was HDTV. It's unmistakable.
If you were watching a 4x3 broadcast, it was not HDTV.

In normal mode on the dish 6000 receiver it was widescreen. I could make it 4*3 by trying different modes.
