IMHO, everyone is getting mixed up with the news that jaws was on HD on tv and will not even be shown again til 2008.

I still say no release anytime soon

When has Spielberg and Lucas played their trump cards at the very beginning of a format's life? They wait for the base to grow and then jump in and tell said distributor(s) "okay, release my movies." They control most of their films, not the studios.
