New Line has announced the specs for Jason Goes to Hell and Jason X. Jason X gets the full Platinum Series treatment with a widescreen anamorphic transfer (1.85:1), DD 5.1, 2.0 Surround and DTS audio tracks. Extras include an audio commentary with director Jim Isaac, writer Todd Farmer and producer Noel Cunningham; two original documentaries ("The Many Lives of Jason Voorhees" and "By Any Means Necessary: The Making of Jason X"); a "jump to a death" menu feature with "Random Kill" and "Kill All" buttons; DVD-ROM screenplay and the film's original website; and trailers. Retail is $26.98. Jason Goes to Hell will feature both widescreen anamorphic (1.85:1) and fullscreen transfers of both the R-rated and Unrated versions of the film, along with DD 5.1 and 2.0 Surround audio. Extras will include an audio commentary with director Adam Marcus and screenwriter Dean Lorey, the "jump to a death" menu feature with R-rated and Unrated options, and a trailer. Retail on this one is $19.98 and both discs will street on October 8th.
