Hi everyone im just looking for some help with my jamo s606 floor standers with built in 8" woofer in each.
Will i get more out of my speakers by disconnecting the cross over to the subs? As i already have two jensen qx-85 subwoofer
Receiver pioneer vsx524k
Any help would be much appreciated!

The crossover function in your receiver just redirects low frequencies to the subwoofer. Having the crossover active actually results in the best overall headroom (output) for your speakers as they aren't having to reproduce low frequencies. I would not recommend turning off the crossover unless you have a very particular need.
