Wouldn't you rather know now ...that there was no gunbarrel at the beginning ?
Kind of a let down.
no respect for tradition...especially considering its the 50th anniversary .

The let down was reading about it here on a post about the Bond blu rays.
Not sure if you are able to modify the posts, but I think others who have not seen Skyfall may also appreciate it.
Thanks.

It's still odd for us in US to see some of the Bond movies got rated R in Australia. I wonder if all the Bond movies are rated PG/PG-13 in UK.
One thing I notice that changed from the previous release (3 years ago) and now is the quality of the box art insert and the Blu-ray case themselves. The recent version has thinner box art paper and the Blu-ray case is full of "recycle" holes. Packaging style became less fancy on the first release 3 years ago on the 3-disc boxed packaging. First 2 volumes had fancier center ring cutout to show Bond logo but by the 3rd volume, the volume is just flat and simply printed the Bond logo on the surface. For some of us who started collecting Bond on Blu-ray early on, we have 3 different packaging style, the 3-disc boxed, individual release with box art showing Bond with Bond girl, and latest box art showing solo Bond with exception of two, ie. Goldeneye and QoS. The disc art label style also changed from the 2009 and 2012.
Those new cases are supposedly more "green." I simply buy better cases and throw the "green" ones in the trash because they don't protect the disk. So much for cutting down on plastic in the landfill.

More like you have no respect for other Bond fans. That's why there are spoiler tags. Not to mention posting in the wrong sub-forum.

Watch the Skyfall world premiere video because the producers said they are going to have 50th anniversary logo at the movie opening and decided to keep the opening gun barrel to the end than mixing them both together. They did say there's no plan to always keep the opening gun barrel at the end of the movie.

Question for owners of the previous UE DVDs: Were the credit-less opening sequences available for all of the films (pre-Casino Royale)? I hate the fact that they're missing from the blu-rays.... :f

I did a store pickup for YOLT and OHMSS through BestBuy.com.
I think both were priced 9.99, even though they had stickers indicating 14.99 when I picked them up.

I forgot where I saw the BB sign online, but I remember it saying all Bond BD's were $9.99.

I just picked up the three Best Buy titles. Only one was in stock, I had to order the other two, but they had free shipping. All were $9.99 and come with a $10 Skyfall ticket. Please note that the redemption number for the ticket is on the back of the sticker on the front, so don't throw away the packaging!

The Target exclusives are still not available online as far as I know. Has anybody heard anything? I don't have a Target locally so there's no way I can check in-store.

I've checked a Target here in Las Vegas and they don't have them.
All they had was one big box set.

We used our free tickets today. I was surprised how easily the entire thing went down, to be honest. The box office clerk knew what to do at AMC, we got our tix and we were done.

I finally got the Target exclusives. I had to drive 120 miles (round trip) and the clerk had to go into the back to get them.
I still can't believe how hard they're making this. Like having a yard sale and leaving all the stuff in the house.

I've skipped them for now.  Hoping they will be on sale for $9.99 at some point.
Tomorrow Never Dies, A View To A Kill and Thunderball were $8 at my local Target. Several others were at $9.99.
It didn't appear they had all of the titles, but they did have the 3 exclusive ones. They were not all together as well. Rather some on end caps, some in one isle and others in a $9.99 blu ray section.
Kind of confusing and silly, but that kind of the them on these right?
: )
****Correction, I think it may have been The Living Daylights and not Thunderball for $8.. It's silly that Target.com doesn't appear to have the 3 exclusive titles or any of the Bond blu rays online!!

Are the Best Buy titles the only ones that come with a SKYFALL ticket??
